I'm just curious how do you get motivated to make, create or finish a project? Do you prioritize, do you have your own space with a door that closes? Do you need a muse or do you check out projects online?
Life gets busy, and sometimes its hard to find the time to sit down and create amongst all the responsibility stuff. Before you know it the weekend is over or too much time has past to go and make even just the smallest thing.
This weekend I started my first big tote bag project after at least 4 weeks of procrastinating. I thought to myself, if I had just gotten off my butt earlier in the weekend or prioritized time, I could have had a finished product by Sunday night! LOL
Here's hoping that I get this tote finished by Wednesday! This will be a Green leather tote made with a Tandy pattern (so I get used to how patterns look, so I can start creating my own)! The pieces are cut, just need to stitch it all together - by hand for now... practice makes perfect! Even if it isn't perfect, it will still be a handmade functional piece that I will use to haul around all my chick stuff.
